MINIMANTIS-II

The Mini-Mantis II is a portable automatic H-beam oxy-fuel cutting machine. It is possible to perform fast and precise web and flange cuts on beam profiles.

The machine features two drive motors: one for web cutting, the other for flange cutting. For cutting webs, the carriage travels along the guide rail, and for cutting flanges, the torch is moved by a vertical gear rack. It eliminates the need for secondary operations.

2. Lightweight Design Enhances Portability and Operational Efficiency

Weighing approximately 20 kg (including the 600 mm rail), the Mini-Mantis II is engineered for portability. Its lightweight construction makes it economically feasible to transport the machine directly to the workpiece, especially beneficial in large-scale fabrication yards or on-site projects. 

This mobility reduces the need for moving heavy materials, thereby saving time and labour costs.

3. Versatile Cutting Capabilities: Diagonal Cuts and Beveling up to 45°

The Mini-Mantis II is equipped to perform diagonal cuts on both the web and flange of H-beams, with beveling capabilities up to 45°. This versatility allows for complex cutting tasks, including preparing edges for welding joints, without the need for secondary operations. 

The machine's ability to execute precise bevel cuts enhances the quality of the final assembly and reduces fabrication time.

4. SCR Control Unit Ensures Steady and Precise Feed Rates

Incorporating a Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) control unit, the Mini-Mantis II delivers consistent and precise feed rates during cutting operations. This advanced control system maintains a steady movement of the cutting torch, resulting in smooth and accurate cuts.

The SCR unit enhances the machine's performance, particularly when dealing with varying material thicknesses and complex cutting patterns.

The system comes with high-quality cutting nozzles suitable for processing mild steel plates and H-beams ranging from 5 mm to 30 mm in thickness. 

These nozzles are engineered for optimal gas flow and flame stability, delivering clean, precise cuts across a wide range of material sizes.


3. Connecting Lead (5 Meters)

A durable 5-meter connecting lead is included for safe and flexible operation. This leads to linking the cutting machine to the power or control unit, offering enough length to accommodate on-site flexibility while maintaining a steady power supply for uninterrupted operation.

4. Tool Set

Included is a comprehensive tool set that supports maintenance, nozzle cleaning, and on-the-go adjustments.
